How does the ultrasonic welding machine work?
The principle of ultrasonic welding is to convert 50 / 60 Hz current into 15, 20, 30 or 40 kHz power through ultrasonic generator. The converted high-frequency electric energy is converted into mechanical motion of the same frequency again through the transducer, and then the mechanical motion is transferred to the welding head through a set of amplitude modulator device which can change the amplitude. The vibration energy received by the welding head is transferred to the joint of the workpiece to be welded. In this area, the vibration energy is converted into heat energy by friction, and the plastic is melted. Ultrasound can be used not only to weld hard thermoplastics, but also to process fabrics and films.

How does linear vibration friction work?
Linear vibration friction welding uses the friction heat generated on the contact surface of two workpieces to melt the plastic. Heat energy comes from a certain pressure, a workpiece in another surface with a certain displacement or amplitude of reciprocating movement. Once the expected welding degree is reached, the vibration will stop, at the same time, a certain pressure will still be applied to the two workpieces to cool and solidify the just welded part, so as to form a close connection.
How does rail type vibration friction work?
Rail vibration friction welding is a kind of welding method using friction heat energy. In the rail type vibration friction welding, the upper part of the workpiece moves at a fixed speed in the rail - to all directions of circular motion. The movement can produce heat energy to make the welding part of two plastic parts reach the melting point. As soon as the plastic begins to melt, the movement stops, and the welded parts of the two parts solidify and bond firmly together. Small clamping force will lead to the minimum deformation of the workpiece. The workpiece with diameter less than 10 inches can be welded by rail type vibration friction.
